Dear Kentlands and Lakelands Residents who are 55 and over:
Please consider joining the Village at Kentlands and Lakelands as a social member, service member or volunteer.

We also are looking for volunteers to help with media, organizing events, fundraising and more.
We Need Members!
Some people join because of the social opportunities the Village provides. Others join because they need a little help so that they can remain independent. Good news! Gaithersburg now allows 100% audience capacity in the Arts Barn. That means there are tickets available for Kentlands Film Society’s last movie of the season, Tel Aviv on Fire. It will be shown on Sunday, May 22, 2022, at 7:00 PM in the Arts Barn, 311 Kent Square Rd. Doors open at 6:15 PM. Tickets cost $10 per person. And there will be a Critic’s Corner after the movie. Please contact kentlandsfilmsociety@gmail.com to reserve a ticket or for more information. Don’t let the film’s title throw you off.
Tel Aviv on Fire is a comedy that crosses borders and breaks boundaries. Salam, a young, inexperienced Palestinian, becomes a writer on a popular soap opera after a chance meeting with an Israeli soldier who gives him story ideas. His creative career is on the rise until the soldier and the show’s financial backers disagree about how the show should end and Salam is caught in the middle. Thoughtful and well-acted, Tel Aviv on Fire proves it’s possible to find humor in the midst of cultural conflict.
