Friendly Reminder - Townhome Residents
Townhome inspections will begin April 4, 2022, and will be ongoing until complete. Titleholders are encouraged to assess the exterior of their homes and property and take necessary steps to ensure compliance.
Property maintenance plays a vital role in maintaining or increasing property values. Inspectors will take photos of noted violations, and notice of non-compliance will be issued within 30 days. Titleholders will be provided a deadline to comply and/or to communicate with the management office to request more time. Thank you for your help in this important effort to maintain our community standards.

Dear Kentlands and Lakelands Residents who are 55 and over:
Please consider joining the Village at Kentlands and Lakelands as a social member, service member or volunteer.
We Need Volunteers!
Our volunteers help Kentlands and Lakelands residents who are 55 and older who need help with light chores and transportation or simply want someone to talk to.
We also are looking for volunteers to help with media, organizing events, fundraising and more.
We Need Members!
Some people join because of the social opportunities the Village provides. Others join because they need a little help so that they can remain independent. Whatever your reason, consider joining and being a part of this amazing program. Contact Jean Mocarski at [email protected] or 240-449-9002 for information.
Visit our website to learn more about the Village and how it can be a great way to make new friends, find interesting things to do and/or get a little help. Check out our calendar which describes monthly events happening in Kentlands and Lakelands and in other Villages. Read our newsletters—Village News—which is full of valuable information about things to do. Also, look at our articles--Views from the Village—featuring topics of interest.

Good news! Gaithersburg now allows 100% capacity in the Arts Barn.
That means there is room for walk-ins for Kentlands Film Society’s next movie, Oranges and Sunshine. It will be shown on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at 7:00 PM in the Arts Barn. Doors open at 6:15. Tickets will cost $10 per person. Please contact [email protected] to reserve a ticket or for more information.
Oranges and Sunshine tells the inspiring story of Margaret Humphreys, an English social worker, who, in the 1980’s, uncovered the organized deportation of children in care from the United Kingdom to Australia. Almost single-handedly, Margaret reunited thousands of families, brought authorities to account and drew worldwide attention to an extraordinary miscarriage of justice.
Emily Watson gives an award-winning performance.
