* Kentlands Residents Only *
Join us as we read a story about an adventurous girl named Swatch. We go on a hunt for colors (jars of paint) and get creative on a large outdoor canvas. This is a great opportunity for children to explore with their senses, exercise creativity, and create a collaborative piece of art with others. Children of all ages are welcome. Capacity is limited. Families should provide an oversized shirt to be used by their artist as a smock. Adults are encouraged to take plenty of photos.

All Residents and Guests Using Kentlands Amenities Must have a Kentlands Waiver on Record.
Every individual 18 years and older must complete their own individual Kentlands Waiver. Minor children (17 years and younger) must be included in their parent's Waiver. After clicking the green SUBMIT button, the Waiver will electronically be submitted to Kentlands management. A reference number is a confirmation of a successful transmittal. If not, a red box with instructions will assist you. Take a screenshot for your own record should you have to provide it to Clubhouse front desk staff.

Bulk Pickup Requires Scheduling
The City of Gaithersburg provides scheduled bulk trash pickup for Kentlands single-family homes and townhouses (not condominiums) for items the community’s trash collector will not accept. Condominium owners/residents must contact their management company.
Plan ahead!
- You must schedule pick up for any one of Kentlands’ recycling days (only Thursdays) by appointment only.
- The City will process your request, requiring two (2) business days, and will provide confirmation.
- DO NOT place bulk items out for pickup until you receive confirmation.
- Regular recycling will not pick up bulk items.
To know where to place bulk items, how often you may schedule, what items are acceptable, and more, click here.
Thank you for doing your part in keeping the Kentlands community clean and beautiful!

Dear Kentlands and Lakelands Residents who are 55 and over:
Please consider joining the Village at Kentlands and Lakelands as a social member, service member or volunteer.
We Need Volunteers!
Our volunteers help Kentlands and Lakelands residents who are 55 and older who need help with light chores and transportation or simply want someone to talk to.
We also are looking for volunteers to help with media, organizing events, fundraising and more.
We Need Members!
Some people join because of the social opportunities the Village provides. Others join because they need a little help so that they can remain independent. Whatever your reason, consider joining and being a part of this amazing program. Contact Jean Mocarski at jeanmocarski@gmail.com or 240-449-9002 for information.
Visit our website to learn more about the Village and how it can be a great way to make new friends, find interesting things to do and/or get a little help. Check out our calendar which describes monthly events happening in Kentlands and Lakelands and in other Villages. Read our newsletters—Village News—which is full of valuable information about things to do. Also, look at our articles--Views from the Village—featuring topics of interest.
