Greetings and Shalom!
Kentucky has a state motto I think most normal Americans can agree with:
"United We Stand, Divided We Fall."
When I first read Beth Salamon's article denouncing the Kentucky pro-life bill. I was appalled. But not surprised. Because more than any other organization in the United States, the National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) wants to make sure Americans remain divided so that eventually our morals will fall.
Think about what this bill will do. Dozens of women have died from chemical abortions and thousands injured. For one thing, it will make chemical abortions safer for women by requiring a doctor's visit. It will also require parental notification for a minor to obtain an abortion.
When parental knowledge is bypassed, who do you think frequently makes the decision to take the minor child an abortion? You guessed it. The adult male who made the minor girl pregnant. That's statutory rape, which is a crime and happens often without parental notification laws. Yet, Beth Salamon, who is the Louisville Section State Policy Advocate for the Kentucky NCJW calls these "restrictions."
