ELSA'S KOPJE, MERU: BORN FREE
Nestled within Meru National Park in Northern Kenya lies the charming Elsa's Kopje lodge. The property attracts a plethora of holiday-goers year-round due to not only its history with lion conservation, but also its iconic cinematic ties. Elsa's Kopje is named after Elsa the lioness, made famous by George and Joy Adamson's biographical book and film "Born Free". Kasao is an elder of the Samburu (Maasai) Tribe. He is one of the highest qualified and most sought after independent guides in Kenya.
Born in the Northern Frontier, Kasao trained initialy in South Africa as a ranger, and then in Kenya. He received an honorary lifetime Wardenship from the Kenyan Wildlife Service for services rendered managing the anti-poaching in Tsavo National Park when he arrested over 70 poachers, and recovered $100,000s of ivory.
He is highly experienced in all aspects of ground handling within Kenya and has worked in all the major National Parks and Reserves as well as for various 5* Private Camps & Reserves. Kasao brings intimate product knowledge of Kenya, familiarity with doing business in Africa, and a keen understanding of what customers want from an African safari and vacation elsewhere on the continent.
Over the past years, Kasao also has assisted in the filming of several National Geographic documentaries with Reinhard Radke about the wildlife that inhabit Kenya's national parks. With him as your private guide, you will not only seek out the best game, but also gain an immense amount of knowledge about the local communities and animals.

SIRIKOI: EXCLUSIVE USE HOME
Sirikoi House is an exclusive hire property located on private land in the Laikipia area in Northern Kenya. It is surrounded by the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy in a beautiful area of rolling plains, acacia forests, swamps and rivers.
Sirikoi House consists of a main dining & sitting room; a large veranda and fireplace; a separate master bedroom suite and a cottage comprising of two large bedrooms. Day 4-5: Loisaba Tented Camp, Loisaba Conservancy
Loisaba Tented Camp has been built on the site of the old Loisaba Lodge.
