Now retired from owning her own business, she is passionate about supporting the local community and fostering growth within the business sector. Her commitment to excellence and community engagement pushes her daily.  Outside of work, Connie enjoys spending time with family and riding motorcycles with her husband.

The Southside is looking to fill the head bartender position that is 2nd shift Monday-Friday approximately 2:30PM-10PM, at times later (we can serve until 2AM) depending on customers. There is the possibility to work a weekend shift depending on events & schedules of other employees. 1 week vacation after a year. Competitive pay along with tips. Responsibilities to include opening, closing, deposits, inventory, ordering, cleaning, working along with other staff & the board. Must be organized, friendly, social, dependable & honest. Stop by the club for an application.

Weddings! - NOW is the time to book vendors for your 2026-2027 wedding! I still have limited availability for 2026, and I’m already filling up the 2027 calendar! Bridal fairs are coming up, and I will book a lot of dates, so beat the rush and #hiredougie TODAY! 

Senior Class of 2026! - This has been my busiest Senior season ever! Lots of traditional Senior portraits, sports, cars, guitars, and all sorts of other fun shoots so far this year. Let’s chat about making some epic Senior photos before April deadlines pop up!

Nominations for the 2026 Iowa Volunteer Hall of Fame Awards are now being accepted! Nominations must be submitted online or postmarked by January 21, 2026; honorees will be recognized during a special ceremony at the Capitol in April.
