A sin-cursed world will always produce death and destruction such as the floods in Kerrville. In fact, it would be honest to say that the once benevolent world of the garden is now set for man's destruction, even the children.
The places change: names change; and forms change as the world continues its curse-spawned pursuit of man. There is no controlling it or stopping it in its pursuit until a new heaven and a new earth are ushered in by Jesus who commands the winds and the waves.
Although the cursed creation, sin, and the Devil mean it for evil, God through His loving grace redeems men from the curse. Our focus at times of national tragedy is the Gospel adorned by our good works.
Operation Renewed Hope has been directed to two churches, Ranchero Drive Baptist and Victory Baptist, which have agreed to be depots for food, water, and supplies in Kerrville. A church in San Antonio, New Life Baptist Church, agreed to act as a distribution and transportation center for the churches in Kerrville.
Please, pray as the churches prepare for Gospel distribution. Pray that many will turn to the comfort of Christ in the Gospel.
