Workforce Pell is a newly established workforce development incentive. It will fund short-term CTAE training programs of 8 weeks or 150-599 hours that lead directly to employment - making it a strong fit for apprenticeships. Eligible program will focus on high-skill, high wage, in-demand careers. Our Governor has already established the high demand careers list. Now what? We wait on implementation, guidance, potential braided funding allowance, and a communication plan to employers.
