I have the honor of being the 2018 Chair of the Key Biscayne Chamber of Commerce so my Newsletter will focus more on Key Biscayne events and Key Biscayne Chamber of Commerce Business promotion. I am very passionate about supporting and advocating for our local businesses. We are blessed to live on an Island with world class amenities, restaurants and merchants.
As a life-long resident and Realtor on Key Biscayne, I love sharing upcoming events and Interesting activities offered around our community for the residents and frequent visitors of our Island
Paradise.
My father, Federico Padovan, moved our family (including grandparents) to Key Biscayne in 1973. I was raised on the Island and left briefly to earn a BFA degree at NYU. But my heart was always here so I returned to my Island Paradise home where I am raising 4th generation Key Biscayners with my husband Donnie Hall.

The official unveiling of the new Miracle Mile is here and to celebrate the Business Improvement District (BID) of Coral Gables, City of Coral Gables and Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce, are pleased to partner and host the Miracle Mile Back to Beautiful block party on Saturday, April 14 from 5:30 to 9 p.m.
The free community event promises to be a lively evening with a magical ambiance filled with live music, activities by local businesses and engaging entertainment for everyone
to enjoy. The party celebrates improvements to the beloved Miracle Mile including expanded sidewalks making for a pleasant pedestrian experience, new outdoor dining, improved lighting, public art and more beautiful additions.
The event will kick-off with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting by the City of Coral Gables, the Business Improvement District of Coral Gables and the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce.
Expect live performances (including two local bands, a jazz quartet, and electric violinist), Miracle Mile-themed caricatures and photo opportunities to capture the beautiful new details of the refreshed Downtown. Merchants are hosting fun and unique experiences to highlight their businesses and engage with event-goers.

he first 500 attendees will receive Where Beautiful Livesbranded, recyclable shopping bags, to coincide with the City's green initiatives.
Miracle Mile will remain open to vehicular traffic. Free parking, complimentary of the City of Coral Gables, will be available in Garages 1,2, and 6 making it easy to the festivities and stay for dinner.

The 20th Annual Coral Gables Bluesfest is organized by Blues enthusiast, entrepreneur and owner of Fritz and Franz Bierhaus, Harald Neuweg, who is also the founder of the annual Coral Gables Oktoberfest and many other small festivals. 1) Appreciate what you have, do not focus on what you don't have.
2) Build on what is good and positive in your life.
3) See the obstacles and difficulties as opportunities.
4) Get out of your comfort zone, that is where real growth takes place.
5) Do not allow fear to cause inaction, go for it!

Everyone knows the significance of experiencing life from the vantage point of gratitude. An attitude of gratitude lifts the spirt to a higher vibration and attracts plenitude. From a lens of appreciation, life looks and feels better and so are the consequences and results, at its least thanks to the law of attraction. Life gives you more of what you focus on.
How about taking thankfulness to the next level and sprinkling a little fun and joy along the way? There is truly some magic to making life a more rewarding journey when we add the element of amusement and wonderment analogous to appreciating the silver lining of every cloud. We all have challenges of one form or another in varying degrees and intensity. Why not take the risk to make it more enjoyable like a kid rolling in a field of cotton candy? You have nothing to lose except a higher feeling of satisfaction which will only attract more people and circumstances that raised you to your higher vibe.
Don't practice gratitude because you should (i.e., there are people starving in the world.) Instead practice it because you can and it feels better than sulking and complaining. Take appreciation a step even further. Sprinkle a little fairy dust of fun and happiness and watch the miracles unfold.
