Teachers Making a Killing Through Digital Tutoring
India - Teachmint, an EdTech company focused on India relevant digital tutoring solutions revealed that teachers who have made a switch to online tutoring from the conventional physical classroom set-up have witnessed an average 400% growth in their teaching business in eight weeks of signing up. The company boasts of having 250,000 teachers who have signed up with them and the number is swelling up with more than 50,000 new registrations every month. A deeper analysis of factors driving this growth has thrown up a few major reasons for the switch. The first of which is the fact that teachers are now easily able to digitize their entire teaching businesses including content delivery, student engagement, and administrative workflows.

NBEA to Host - How the U.S. Promotes Business Globally, An Introduction to the U.S. Commercial Service
International Business - If a student asks you, "how does a company start doing business internationally?" What would be your response? Did you know the United States Department of Commerce, through its Commercial Service, helps answer that question? The U.S. Commercial Service provides U.S. businesses access to a global network of trade experts who can help businesses understand major trends and business issues internationally. NBEA has arranged for a veteran international trade advisor and foreign service officer, Caroline Chung, with the U.S. Commercial Service to brief NBEA members on trends in international business and resources the U.S. government makes available to organizations working internationally. New NBEA Bylaws Rename and Restructure NBEA Divisions
Recent changes in the NBEA bylaws renames and restructures its divisions. The Association for Business Teaching and Research (ABTR) becomes the Council for Business Teaching and Research effective January 1, 2020. No changes have been made to ABTR institutional or individual membership benefits or status.
