NBEA to Launch New Business Education Community Site - Seeking Champion Influencers
NBEA members have long been asking for "resources, lesson plans, and activities that can immediately be put to use in a classroom." However, the association historically had not fully met this need due to many challenges, including ensuring the quality of the resources and getting volunteers to submit and organize them proactively.

Technology has improved the tools to facilitate dynamic, on-demand networking and collaboration across the business education ecosystem. Essentially, when someone requests a resource from a community, they are looking for instant access and prompt response. NBEA is moving quickly to embrace technology tools to facilitate these critical interactions for the business education community. A new upcoming component of the NBEA website powered by cutting-edge technology will provide NBEA members with convenient, dynamic, and quality networking and resource-sharing opportunities. As a result, NBEA will open up its membership to be one of the association's greatest resources. President Benita Moore said, "this technology will help NBEA members join together to provide resources for each other in a format that will allow members to access what is needed quickly rather than having to sort through various topics and information to try to find something that was posted earlier.  This new service is going to be a huge benefit to NBEA members."

As NBEA prepares to roll out this new collaborative service, the association calls for volunteers who want to be recognized as business education champions and influencers in the new online communities. These individuals will be a key to the success of the new NBEA community groups in the coming months. The NBEA Community Champions will monitor and collaborate with other business educators to help provide resources and advice to the community members. A champion's engagement will work toward achieving a critical mass of business educators using and contributing to the community. What will you get in return for being an NBEA Community Champion? How about the opportunity to help other educators, inspire peers, and make life just a bit easier for them and you. Or a digital badge that indicates your vital role in the business education community! Sound rewarding? If you would like to be an NBEA Community Champion and be part of one of the most innovative things NBEA has ever done, signup here to learn more by July 30, 2021. Members and non-members welcome.
NBEA Launches its Annual Satisfaction Survey to Assist in Strategic Planning
NBEA's executive leadership is gearing up for a critical strategic planning meeting to plot the course for the association in the next several years. We need your help in completing a 15-second survey to help the Board. The results of the survey will be compared to last year's results and analyzed. If you have not already, please complete the survey by clicking the link below. "This survey is critical to NBEA's Board as they plan for the future," said Executive Director Joe McClary. McClary continued, "We are excited to have President-elect Delayne Havlovic leading our strategic planning committee this year, but he and the strategic planning committee will need the support and feedback of members." Members and non-members of NBEA are welcome to complete the survey by July 9, 2021.

Testimonials
“Leaders are readers. The book club has been a great resource for me as it has been a wonderful time to connect with other educators to share ideas and discuss topics that are relevant to today’s classroom. The time commitment is minimal. I’m learning from my colleagues and getting solid ideas that will make me more effective in the classroom. I’m also finding ways to apply principles we discuss in my personal life- The book When, was excellent!”
