TSOC PROUDLY SPONSORS HUNTER NOACK AND "IN A LANDSCAPE" FOR THE FOURTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR

This September, Travel Southern Oregon Coast, in collaboration with the Bandon Dunes Charitable Foundation and Oregon's Adventure Coast, sponsored the delightful “In A Landscape” concert series in Coos and Curry counties. 2024 marks the fourth consecutive year TSOC has supported this remarkable event.

As in 2023, the South Coast was graced with three classical performances. Two concerts took place at Shore Acres State Park in Coos Bay on September 4 and 5, where the setting alternated between radiant sunlight and atmospheric fog. A third serene performance took place at Valley Flora Farm in Langlois on September 7.

Created in 2016 by Oregon native and concert pianist Hunter Noack, "In A Landscape" provides a unique introduction to classical music. Departing from the conventional concert hall, Noack places a nine-foot concert grand Steinway piano in natural landscapes such as parks, ranches, and farms. Concert attendees are invited to traverse the surrounding environment while listening to classical music played through wireless headphones. This harmonious blend of sound and nature fosters a profound connection not only with the music itself, but also with the surrounding environment and fellow listeners. Be on the lookout for the series again in 2025.
