Important Events and Notes
Book Buddies Book Drive - April 1-30

Look for grey bins around campus to collect kids' books for Book Buddies.

Fourth grade Leadership is helping Book Buddies. That's an initiative of San Antonio Youth Literacy to collect books suitable for kids in grades Pre-K through 5, that kids can take home to read over the summer. Please consider donating your gently used picture books, chapter books, fiction or non-fiction, but please no dirty, torn or religious books. Click here for more information.

The drive runs throughout April.
Travel Society Pizza sale - April 5
The Travel Society is holding a pizza sale on Friday to help defray travel costs for a trip this summer to Ecuador and the Galapagos. Students in Grades K-4 should send their money with a form from their teacher or download the form here. Students in grades 5-12 can pay in the lunchroom.
Parent Connection Book Club - April 11

Please join Keystone Counselors Alison Raymer and Erica Shapiro as we discuss  Gist: The Essence of Raising Life-Ready Kids   by Michael Anderson, LP, and Timothy Johanson, MD. Written by a pediatrician and child psychologist, the book examines what the journey to adulthood entails, and how to help our children get there. In this insightful, sometimes unconventional, approach, parents will be challenged to examine their own beliefs about parenting and the journey to adulthood.

The book club is open to all Keystone parents, and is a great way to meet other parents and share experiences and perspectives. The book is available on Amazon.

Please rsvp to  [email protected] .
