Seniors donate, volunteer at Food Bank at Food Bank
Seniors had a couple of chances to get together last week for fun, and to do some good works.

On Monday, they got together for a day of hiking and team games at Government Canyon.

On Tuesday, they spent the morning playing their own Field Day-style games. During the afternoon, they went to the San Antonio Food Bank to create food distribution boxes, and present a check for $7,367 -- the money raised from last year's Valentine's Day activities.

Billy's Blog - From our Head of School
We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give.”
–Winston Churchill

Lunch last Friday with a group of seniors could not have been more inspiring. Eleven twelfth-grade students explained why their class chose to donate the money they had raised for their prom to the San Antonio Food Bank.

For many years, it’s been a tradition at Keystone that juniors create a variety of activities on Valentine’s Day to fundraise for prom. Whether they’re doing silly dances, singing songs, delivering notes, candy, or balloons, or other activities, the juniors run themselves ragged on February 14, or the day closest to it, bringing happiness to the entire community and subsidizing prom. As I learned in my first year, Valentine’s Day at Keystone is a big deal.

Summer Camp Update
