Memory Project brings Upper School students together with orphans in Pakistan
Students in Mrs. Arnold's drawing class took on a special portrait assignment -- to draw pictures of children who are living in an orphanage in Pakistan.

Into the Woods
Congratulations to the Upper School students who took on the challenging Stephen Sondheim musical "Into the Woods" and performed it with considerable aplomb.
Moms celebrate Diwali
Fifth and sixth-grade students got a special treat this week -- delicious Indian food to celebrate Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights.

Varsity volleyball finishes strong season
Congratulations to the varsity volleyball team on a great season.

The team finished 22-16 overall, and came in second in its district with a 6-3 record.

Keystone supports 10th grader’s peanut butter drive
The recent peanut butter donation drive of tenth grader Gabriel succeeded brilliantly.

Mr. Handmaker to serve on ISAS Board

Congratulations to Mr. Handmaker on his election to the board of the Independent Schools Association of the Southwest. At the recent meeting of heads of school, he was voted to serve a two-year term as the Secondary School representative.
GrandFriends Day coming

Students and faculty at the Little and Lower Schools will welcome grandparents and other special adults onto campus for a special morning featuring a special program and a look at some of the projects the young ones are tackling.

Little School celebrates its day Thursday, Nov. 21, from 8:30-9:30 a.m. on its campus, 117 Valero St. Get there early to take pictures with your little ones!

Lower School invites parents on Friday, Nov. 22, from 8:15 a.m. to noon on the main campus.

Keeping track of an adolescent’s social life can be an exhausting task. Study after study testify to the phenomenon of FOMO (fear of missing out.) As a result, teens rush from one event to the next and sometimes suffer from social exhaustion. So, how do we help them learn to not only tolerate solitude but to revel in it?
