A message to families before Thanksgiving Break
Dear Keystone Parents,

As we prepare to leave for the Thanksgiving holiday, we are also seeing an increase in the number of positive COVID cases in San Antonio.

We hope to return to campus after Thanksgiving, but we want to be prepared for any eventuality. To that end, we are asking all students to take home their materials, including school-issued iPads, when they leave for the holiday.

This way, all students can be ready for school on Monday, November 30, whether it is in person on campus or in distance learning mode.

We hope to be in person on campus, but we wish to offer the same excellent educational experience no matter the circumstances. We will make a decision on Monday, November 23 once we see the most up to date indicators that typically come out on Mondays.

Please make sure to check your email over the Thanksgiving holiday, and please make sure to keep those iPads charged.

We hope you have a relaxing and meaningful Thanksgiving.

With hope,

Billy

Billy's Blog - From our Head of School
“She refused to be bored chiefly because she wasn’t boring.”
–Zelda Fitzgerald

“I’m so bored!” How many times do we parents hear our children express tedium? Even our eclectic young Cobras, involved in academics, extracurriculars and community activities, get bored from time to time. Now, in a time when so much is closed or inaccessible, the phenomenon is even worse.

Perhaps, though, we may be looking at boredom in the wrong way.
