3rd graders win Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy award
Congratulations to third-graders Jack, Colton, and Matthew.
They won Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy from the  San Antonio chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals , for their work founding a company that sells handmade potato chips.

3rd, 4th graders learn about San Antonio River
Third and fourth-graders learned about the importance of keeping the San Antonio River clean this week with a lesson from the San Antonio River Authority .

Sophomores win Powderpuff Volleyball tournament
In the ongoing Spirit War competition among Upper School classes, the sophomores took last week's Powderpuff Volleyball tournament.

Third graders present play
This year's 3rd grade play, Furry Tales, depicted the favorite children's story characters losing their tails and mixing up their stories. It's up to three brave creatures and a bright girl to make everything right.
KEYS present production
Congratulations to KEYS, the Middle School performance elective, on a fun production! The original show, entirely student written, organized and produced, told of three friends who traveled back and forth in time, and made surprising discoveries.
No tacos next week
Because students are focusing on upcoming exams, there will be no taco sales this week.
This film could help your kids
In order to help families assist their children in the management of stress and anxiety....”, Keystone will screen “ Angst ,” a highly regarded movie on child anxiety on Jan. 8 and 9. After the screenings, counselors Alison Raymer and Dr. Erica Shapiro, will lead a discussion.

The screenings run from 6-7:30pm both days, and childcare for Keystone students in kindergarten and older will be available.

If you live with a teenager, you know how much stress they can feel. Adolescent stress and anxiety have been a national topic of conversation since at least 2017, when a New York Times Sunday Magazine published Why Are More American Teenagers Than Ever Suffering From Severe Anxiety . Over the past few years, schools, colleges, and universities have witnessed more and more children and young adults becoming paralyzed by stress and anxiety, and to be honest, educators were not sure what to do about it.

Marisa Luckie ’11 presents on K-pop in Korea
The roaring success in the United States of BTS, the boy band from South Korea, has captured not only attention, but backlash, and Keystone alum Marisa Luckie, ’11, delivered a presentation about it at an academic conference at Yonsei University in Seoul.
