4th graders dissect sheep eyeballs
Tap into your inner fourth grader and enjoy some photos of students dissecting sheep eyeballs.

Mrs. Holden reporters that her students are studying vision and light and wanted to examine eye structures more thoroughly, so they’re doing the dissection.

Little School celebrates Fiesta
Even though Fiesta has been officially postponed for this year, students at the Little School celebrated on their campus with lots of cascarones, confetti and raspas. (OK, they were really snow cones, but we'll count them as raspas for Fiesta!)

Make sure to order your yearbook
Dear Parents,

If you haven't yet ordered your yearbook for the 2020-2021 school year, make sure to reserve your copy. We are printing a limited number guarantee yours by ordering before July 1. Yearbooks will be available for pick up in August when the 2021-2022 school year begins.

To verify whether you have already purchased a yearbook last semester, check your email for a confirmation from Walsworth. We won't receive the list of who purchased yearbooks until they're delivered to campus.

Billy's Blog - From our Head of School
“Often when you think you’re at the end of something, you’re at the beginning of something else.”
–Fred Rogers

During a recent conversation with a high school student, we discussed the ambivalence of going to places and doing things like we did in the “before times” when we’d never heard of COVID-19. How will it feel eating inside a restaurant or going to a movie, even when one is fully vaccinated? How have we changed over the past year, and why do we have mixed feelings about doing certain activities we know rationally have little risk? According to a report from the American Psychological Association, nearly 50% of American express anxiety about returning to in-person interactions.

How will our children re-enter the world they left so suddenly a little over a year ago? I have thought about this a great deal over the past few months, and even more so lately as we see more and more students on campus and engaging in activities.
