When the Little School closed last week, the staff and faculty used the day to sharpen their skills.

They spent two days at the Teach Your Heart Out conference, an event with a mission “to provide rigorous, meaningful, research-based strategies all while inspiring and rejuvenating educators.”

Why do you like working here:   The students are amazing. I enjoy watch them develop and grow in both Physical Education and Athletics.

Sophomore Class breakfast sale
Support the sophomore class at the next breakfast sale on Tuesday before school begins, next to Nurse Penny's office.

On the menu: breakfast tacos, donuts, coffee, juice and hot chocolate.

The next bake sale happens Thursday during Middle and Upper School lunch periods.

Come snag some baked goods and support the sophomores.
Lower School Playdate - Oct. 14

Attention Lower School families -- a playdate for all Lower School families will take place at 11 a.m. on Oct. 14. Here are the details:

Picture Day - Oct. 16

Picture Day is set for Oct. 16, if you want to start planning haircuts and outfits. Picture retake day is Tuesday, December 3. Seventh graders will take photos on the retake day, because they'll be out on an Outdoor Education trip.
PSAT/PreACT for Grades 9-11 - Oct. 16

For students in grades 9-11: Picture Day is also PSAT/PreACT Day. Please plan to arrive at school no later than 8:15 a.m.

Watch for emails from Ms. Christiansen with testing details and grade level classroom assignments. 
Please bring the following:
  • Several #2 pencils (not mechanical)
  • A calculator with good batteries, and you also may want to bring a back-up calculator.
  • Snacks if you think you will be hungry during one of the breaks

Tickets for Keystone Spurs Night are now on sale.

This year's event at the AT&T Center takes place at 4pm on Saturday, Nov. 9.

The package includes:
  • Special Keystone discount
  • Food voucher valid for a hot dog or nachos and a drink
  • Courtside Experience Pass that allows you to come in early and watch the players warming up from the first 13 rows of the arena

On top of that, a portion of the ticket sales goes back to support Keystone.
