SLICHOT BEGINS

Next Motzei Shabbat (September 28th), we will begin our Slichot with a special program to both prepare us for the Yamim Noraim as well as remember and honor the sacrifices made this past year.

The program will include a special talk at 10:30 PM by Devorah Saadon, mother of Staff Sargent Hallel Saadon, z"l, who was killed on October 7th while engaged in a battle near Kibbutz Sufa.

Following Devorah's talk, there will be music and then musical slichot.

HOSPITALITY REQUEST:

Next Shabbat (September 27-28) we will be welcoming to shul our new intern, Zachary Beer. In order to host him in shul, we are looking for volunteers willing to host him and his wife Alex for sleeping and/or meals. Please e-mail shirhadash613@gmail.com if you are able to offer either.

Zachary Beer is a Chaver at the RIETS-Gruss Israel Kollel and a Nachshon Graduate Fellow. He is currently pursuing smicha and a degree at the Azrieli School of Jewish Education and Administration.

YAMIM NORA'IM SEATING AND ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP DRIVE

We are full! And thus, unfortunately, we can no longer accommodate additional requests for seating during the Yamim Noraim.

If Yamim Noraim seating is not required, we of course are happy to continue to accept membership applications. Please fill out this google document, which includes payment details at the end.

(Please note: If circumstances are such that the suggested membership amounts are either beyond your capacity -- or as is often the case, Shir Hadash is but one of a few shuls you support, please feel free to donate an amount with which you feel comfortable.
