We invite you to join us for a tour of the Kia Georgia Assembly Plant in West Point, Georgia. In addition to the Tour, we will also hear a presentation by Kia.
The day's overall general schedule will consist of:
- Morning Tour - Tour Group #1
- Networking, Lunch, and Presentation by Kia and GAMA - for both Tour Groups
- Afternoon Tour - Tour Group #2
Early Registration is June 5 until July 7, 2023.
Late Registration is July 8 to July 28, 2023 at 4:00pm ET.
- You must pre-register for this event.
- Earliest registrants will have a better choice of either the AM or PM Tour.
- No switching of tour times allowed.
- No walk-ins will be allowed.
- No substitutions of participants.
- You must abide by all security and other requirement of Kia Georgia.
Shuttle buses will be provided from the Kia Georgia Training Center to the Kia Georgia Plant. You must report to the Kia Georgia Training Center for check-in, preliminary security check, and instructions.
Tour details are as follows (all times are Eastern Time (ET):
Tour Group #1 - 37 Participants
- 8:15am - Arrival and check-in at Kia Georgia Training Center (KGTC) - Coffee, tea, rolls, provided by GAMA
- 8:45am - Load on to Shuttle Bus for short trip to Kia Georgia Plant
- 9:00am - 10:45am - Plant Tour
- 10:45am - Return to KGTC for Networking, Lunch, and Presentation by Kia and GAMA (both Tour Groups)
11:00am - 12:45pm - Networking, Lunch, and Presentation by Kia - for both Tour Groups
- 11:00am - Networking
- 11:30am - 12:45pm - Lunch provided by GAMA
- Introductions by Rick Walker, President of GAMA
- Presentation by Kia Executive
- Overview of GAMA's new "3 P's of Supplier Success™" Program
Tour Group #2 - 37 Participants
- 10:30am - Arrival and check-in at KGTC
- 11:00am - Networking, Lunch, and Presentation by Kia and GAMA (both Tour Groups)
- 12:45pm - Load on to Shuttle Bus for short trip to Kia Georgia Plant
- 1:00pm - 2:45pm - Plant Tour
- 2:45pm - Return to KGTC and depart
Space will be limited, so we urge you to sign up early. When you register, you will be asked to choose between Tour Group #1 and Tour Group #2. Both Tour Groups will enjoy networking, lunch, and a presentation by Kia.
Please be aware and abide by the following:
- All registrants will be transported to and from the Kia Georgia Plant via Shuttle Buses provided by GAMA.
- All registrants will pre-register in one of two groups of 37 each. Registrants must stay in this same assigned group they registered for. No switching allowed.
- Shoes that enclose the foot (closed-toed) are required (i.e. no open-toed shoes, clogs, sandals, etc.).
- Long pants are required for men and women.
- Registrants must be a minimum 18 years of age.
- Registrants may not use cameras, recording devices, nor cell phones in the plant.
- No photography of any kind allowed in plant.
- No smoking. No weapons.
- Registrants must follow all safety and security requirements as established by Kia Georgia.
- There is security monitoring in the plant.
- Kia Georgia, in its sole and absolute discretion, may exclude attendees from the tour of its plant.
