The TD Summer Reading Club is Canada’s biggest, bilingual summer reading program for kids of all ages, all interests, and all abilities.

This free program is co-created and delivered by more than 2,000 public libraries across Canada. It celebrates Canadian authors, illustrators, and stories. It is designed to inspire kids to explore the fun of reading their way – the key to building a lifelong love of reading.

Celebrate “Knit in Public Day” by Yarn Bombing the Library Parkette!

Until Friday, June 12, visit the library and pick up some yarn and needles. Knit long strips, any style, that can be wrapped around trees, railings, chairs, etc. Bring your strips to the yarn bombing event and help decorate the Library Parkette.

All displayed items must be provided by the participant.

Walk the Length of the Odyssey

Please register to participate

A 10-week (not years) community movement challenge! Walk, run, bike, rollerblade... just get moving!

Keep track of your steps or km travelled and submit them weekly to asolecki@meaford.ca. The participant who travels the furthest will win a heroic-age prize.

Let's see if we can walk 8,043 km, Odysseus’s journey home from Troy to Ithaca.
