Every dog has its day, and more than 2,000 pups will have theirs at the Kennel Club of Philadelphia’s National Dog Show, Saturday and Sunday at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA. Families cheer on canine competitors during competitions and demos that vary daily, including the coveted “Best in Show” title. Be sure to stop by the MetroKids booth; we’ll be stocked with plenty of giveaway opportunities and copies of our latest issue!

Philly’s Penn Museum just made some big changes, and it wants to show off! See it all during the Grand Opening Celebration, a weekend-long event where visitors an check out 10,000 square feet of reimagined galleries and spaces while enjoying storytelling, dance performances and discussions with curators.
