CPRP with Me - Study Group

Join us for this 6-week on-line, interactive course designed to assist Recreation and Park Professionals prepare for the Certified Park and Recreation Professional Examination (CPRP). The CPRP is a widely recognized certification that is based on peer identified skills and responsibilities and indicates professional competency.
The PRPS Mentor Program is designed to enhance the skills and abilities of park and recreation professionals through engaging relationships with experienced professionals, increased opportunities to network, and educational opportunities designed especially for program participants.
Pool Management 101 is an in-depth pool management course for individuals not currently certified. The Pool Recertification is for individuals who currently hold a pesticide applicators license, and seek renewal credits. 6 Core and 4 Category 24 pesticide applicator credits available.
The annual Pennsylvania Therapeutic Recreation Institute (TRI) offers educational programs for attendees who are therapeutic recreation specialists and activity coordinators.
For the first time, PRPS is collaborating with the Pennsylvania Association of Environmental Educators (PAEE) to expand the training and networking between our parallel professions in a joint conference.
The academy is geared towards up and coming leaders in recreation and parks or related fields who want to increase their personal capacity for leadership and efficacy. This training, while focusing on developing emerging leaders, will also benefit current leaders who wish to improve their skills and effectiveness.
The CPSI Course trains individuals to identify hazards on public playgrounds and playground equipment, how to rank hazards according to injury potential, and how to apply that knowledge and establish a playground safety program.
