(Puppy Primer)

Ages 11 weeks - 6 months

Got a new puppy? This class is for you. Help with all the normal puppy problems like nipping and potty training. Learn how to train your puppy in a fun and positive way. Learn the basics of sit, down, coming when called. Learn the concepts to help your puppy grow into a optimistic, confident and calm adult dog.

My Awesome Dog

(Paws Up Basics)

Ages 6 months and up

Does your dog need the basics? This class is for you. Help with all the normal behavior problems. Learn how to train your dog in a fun and positive way. This class will help you and your dog learn basics like sit, down, coming when called and loose leash walking. Also learn positive ways to deal with minor behavior issues. Learn the concepts to help your dog be a calm, well behaved member of your family.

AKC Canine

Good Citizen

This class will cover all items on the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test. It includes the Canine Good Citizen Testing. All dogs who pass the 10-step CGC evaluation receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club. This is the first of 3 classes that we offer to help with Therapy Dog preparation.

Trick Dog 101

Beginner Tricks 

Tricks are a great way to keep training and building that relationship with your dog! They can also help build your dogs confidence and increase your dog's ability to focus. In this class you will learn new tricks and build on ones you may already know. Dogs can also earn an AKC or DMWYD trick title if they are ready.

Community Canine

AKC Community Canine is the advanced level of testing offered by AKC. It tests the ability of your dog to maintain control, good manners and obedience in group situations with other dogs. All dogs who pass the 10 item evaluation receive the CGCA title from the American Kennel Club. These classes help build both handler and dog skills.

Prerequisite: AKC CGC class.

The Scent Work Dog

Skills for Competition and Odor Recognition

This class is for those dogs that are ready for the next level of scent work. We introduce novel odors (depending on dogs skill level) along with more difficult searches and competition type searches. This class includes a starter kit with every thing you need. Continue to build on the fun of your dog using their nose to find the scent.

This class will help build confidence, teamwork and sniffing skills with fun games and searches. Put your dog's love for sniffing to work and have fun doing easy to challenging scent work searches. This class is suited for dogs of all ages.

AKC Urban Canine

The third level of the popular AKC Canine Good Citizen Series. This class takes your dogs obedience skills on the go and works them in real life public environments. All 10 Test Items will be covered and testing is included with the class. This is the third of 3 classes that can help prepare your dog for therapy visits and evaluations for therapy dog organizations.

Prerequisite: AKC Canine Good Citizen class and AKC Community Canine Class.
