A Word from the Pastor

Sunday Worship

10 a.m. in Sanctuary & on Facebook

Kick the Ball, Charlie Brown!

Lucy invites Charlie Brown to kick the football each year and then consistently thwarts his efforts. Yet, we keep rooting for him as he steps up to the ball once more. Charlie Brown never forgets his purpose is to kick that ball no matter how many times Lucy takes it away. What’s God’s purpose for us? Who do we let swipe it away? How might we reclaim our purpose? Come out and join us on Kick-off Sunday as we step back into the game this fall! You won’t want to miss all of the fun we have planned together this week! Find us on Facebook at St. Paul's United Methodist Church-Rochester.

Susanna Wesley's Determination

Today, we look to the extraordinary determination of Susanna Wesley (1669-1742), mother of Methodist Church founder John Wesley. Consider how her defiance of obstacles and her resolve of faith helped instruct and inspire her children, and then consider how you can learn from her example.

Find us on Facebook at St. Paul's United Methodist Church-Rochester.
