Greetings NENSA Community!

5pm TODAY is the registration deadline for this weekends Eastern Cup races which are combined with a U.S. Ski & Snowboard Supertour, in Lake Placid NY. This Friday will be a Supertour race day only; Saturday is a combined EC & Supertour classic SPRINT race day; and Sunday will be the combined EC & Supertour classic Mass Start race day. Register now on Please note: There is no DOR for this EC/Supertour weekend ~ on-line registration closes TODAY, Wednesday 1/23, at 5pm sharp.

Last weekends snowstorm did not deter NENSA's 18th annual Women's Day in Waterville NH. Please see the box below for a full recap and link to lots of great photos!

But the bitter coffee cold temps and wind chill on Monday did postpone the 46th Annual Geschmossel Classic ski race to this coming Sunday 1/27 in Bretton Woods NH. This race is part of our Zak Cup race series. Registration is on and if you race both the WMC 30k Saturday, and the Geschmossel 15k on Sunday, Bretton Woods will give you a free mid-week trail pass to use later this season!

A reminder that this Saturday 1/26 is the White Mountain Classic 30k in Jackson NH which is also NENSA One Day Club Championship! Be sure to get all your club members registered because in this 1DCC everyone has the opportunity to score points for their teams in each of their respective age groups, so the more club members you can get to race, across all age groups, the better!

This Sunday January 27th is also the 14th annual Mountain Top Paintball Biathlon ~ with BKL, high school and adult race categories!

Check out all the NENSA NEWS from the Field below, as well the great winter races and events in our events calendar at the bottom of this eNewletter.

Hope to see many of you in Lake Placid this weekend!

This past Sunday at Waterville Valley a hardy group of women braved the snow for some excellent skiing and camaraderie with friends new and old. It was the 18th annual New England Women’s XC Ski Day, and for years to come we will remember it as “the one with the blizzard!”......
