Greetings NENSA Community!

As we all await the start of the ski season, prep our skis and look over all the great options for events this winter, be it citizen races, our signature Eastern Cup weekends or Woman's Day, November is the perfect time to renew your NENSA Membership. Here are the links to RENEW or JOIN . Memberships are an important part of our annual operating budget, and we thank you in advance for supporting NENSA with your annual membership today!

NENSA's popular online annual Auction will be staring on next Tuesday November 13th at 3pm. If you or your business wants to donate an item for this Auction, please contact me at my email below. It's a great way to promote your business, and help NENSA fundraise, so we can keep providing New England with all the programing we do, from youth through masters! Thanks!

Despite the gale force winds, torrential rain and then snow that hit the top of Trapp Hill last Saturday, we had a great group of hearty elite athletes who showed up for our Trapp Invitational, the final race of our NENSA Bag Balm Rollerski Race Series, presented by SkiTrax. See box below for a full recap of the race, and the season and photos. Great to see so many folks at the race, and at our Winter KickOff Party ~ a great time was had by all! A special congrats go out to Tamra Mooney, the winner of the Nokian Tyres for her social media post on her "It's a Beautiful Journey".

To read more about all these great events, and more, check out all the NENSA NEWS from the Field in the boxes below, as well as our events calendar at the bottom of this eNewletter.

Looking forward to seeing you out on the trails soon!

NENSA Rollerski Events End With Wild Weather ~ The Season Recap
If there were any doubts of the skill or tenacity of New England cross country skiers they were put to rest on November 3rd. Hosting the fifth and final race of the 2018 NENSA Bag Balm Series on the doorstep of winter allows athletes and coaches a final competition before seeking on snow training — but also poses the challenge of adverse weather conditions. As teams arrived to the Trapp Family Lodge they were greeted by rain and tree bending wind — however the athletes went about their pre race prep with focus — while organizers readied the course, held a coaches meeting, and finalized safety plans.
