As we step into 2026, we reflect with gratitude on all that we have accomplished together and look ahead with excitement for opportunities still before us.

With the ongoing support of our families, staff, volunteers, and donors, Connections will continue creating a nurturing community where every student and young adult with autism can thrive and reach their full potential.

SANTA'S SPECIAL VISIT TO CONNECTIONS

On Friday, December 19th, Santa and his first responder elves from Palm Beach County Fire Rescue Station 24 arrived in style — on their big red fire truck.

It's one of our favorite holiday traditions at Connections!

The smiles, the excitement, and the reactions were truly priceless.

For so many of our children, seeing Santa, being called by name, and receiving a gift is not just a holiday moment—it is a memory of laughter, belonging, and feeling seen.

The joy from this moment will ripple far beyond the day itself and live on in the hearts of our families. We’ll be talking about this day for a long time!

A special THANK YOU to Orlando Ortiz, a Connections parent & Board Member. By volunteering his time to step into the role of Santa, he gives our students and clients something truly magical—an experience many of them would not otherwise have the opportunity to enjoy.

Our Students had SO. MUCH. FUN. at The Boca West Carnival!

A huge thank you to the Boca West Children’s Foundation for inviting our students to attend their 2025 Carnival Charity Day, generously sponsored by the Truist Foundation. From thrilling rides and classic carnival games to prizes, classic carnival snacks, and refreshing snow cones, every detail was thoughtfully planned—and every moment was filled with joy.

Our students had an incredible time, soaking in the experience, laughing with friends, and creating memories they’ll carry with them for years to come.

We recently put out a call to action asking for help in supporting our Connections families facing food insecurity—and the response has been nothing short of incredible. Thanks to the generosity of so many of you, we’ve been able to provide essential food items to families who truly needed the support.

We are incredibly grateful for each person who stepped forward to help.
