Open Music Sessions Featuring Kid Astronaut

Join us for June's Open Music Sessions, featuring the music of Kid Astronaut.

The event starts this Friday, June 1, at  7 pm, at Open Media Foundation ( 700 Kalamath Street).

Grab some free food and drink from Sexy Pizza, Crazy Mountain Brewery and Intrepid Sojourner while you watch the Countdown Show upstairs, starting at 7:30 pm.

Head downstairs to Studio A at 8 pm for comedy by Sexpot Comedy followed by a spotlight on the Intendence Film Festival and the music of Kid Astronaut.

Colorado Channel Now Using Live Closed-Captioning

Colorado Channel is now using the live closed-captioning available through YouTube.

The Colorado Channel provides live and archived coverage of the Colorado State and House legislative chambers. Users can search for bills of interest using Open.Media, developed by the Open Media Foundation.

Studio Practice Session
Build up your experience as a studio crew member!  DOM is now offering a monthly opportunity to practice the skills you learned in the Intro to Studio Production class in a non-pressure environment. We will also have activities for non-Studio-certified members.

This month's session will take place on Wednesday, June 13, 6 to 8 pm in Studio A.

June Happenings
We will be hosting the sixth annual Intendence Film Festival June 8-9 at Denver Open Media. Films from all over the world will be shown, with a special focus on Colorado filmmakers. Learn more at intendence.org!

DOM will be at Denver Comic Con, June 15-17! We will have a studio-in-a-box for interviews and a green screen to insert yourself (or your superhero alter-ego) into different locations.

OMF is livestreaming the Denver Pride Parade, with Grand Marshalls David Mullins and Charlie Craig, to DOM's Comcast Channel 57! Can't make it to the parade? Watch online on June 17th here!

This year's Colorado Latino Festival is in Boulder and DOM will be there, livebroadcasting to the radio station. Come join us in Boulder or listen live on June 24  here!
