History at High Noon: Sioux City Food Manufacturing Since 1850
12:05 p.m. at the Sioux City Public Museum
It is no surprise that Sioux City, situated in the heart of the largest agricultural region in the United States, was a major food manufacturing center. Names like Palmer Candy Co., Sue Bee Honey, and Jolly Time Pop Corn may be familiar, but other food manufacturers have helped shape the community since the 1850s. Presented by Tom Munson, Archives Manager.
