Kidney Walk 2016 - We need YOU!

Behind every person living with kidney disease, there is a caring community of friends and family dedicated to helping make a difference. Each year thousands of Canadians stand up and step out in support of those they love touched by kidney failure. Won't you join us this year?

Walks take place throughout the month of September and early October in 40 Ontario communities. Funds raised support research, and programs and services to help those living with kidney disease.

The Kidney Foundation invests about $4 million per year in research funding through a number of programs: the Biomedical Research Grants competition; a world class training program called KRESCENT; and a grant program for Allied Health Researchers.

Dr. Bridgewater participated in KRESCENT and most recently was the recipient of a Biomedical Research Grant.
