The documentary film VITAL BONDS about organ donation and transplantation will broadcast Thursday, November 17 at 8pm on CBC Television. This documentary, supported by the Nature of Things and the National Film Board, highlights the science of donation/transplantation and features several Canadian National Transplant Research Program  researchers. It is a compelling and powerful film that captures the human stories and reinforces the need for an effective approach to donation and transplantation in Canada.

Riverside Rebels in Windsor Support for Kidney Foundation spans a decade 

Sixteen years ago, The Riverside Secondary School Rebels in Windsor, Ontario held a Halloween Run in an effort to raise funds to support a new student who had cancer. The "Run for Ryan" was created by Dave Hawkins and Claudia Hanson and was intended to be a one year event to show support for Ryan and his family.
