Introducing Kids Book Club!

Our brand new Kids Book Club starts this fall for students in grades 4-6! Our first meeting is Tuesday, November 18 from 3:30 - 5:00 pm, where we will discuss My Best Friend is Extinct by Rebecca Wood Barrett! We will also have a special apperance from the author!


The Kids Book Club will meet four times a year for a group discussion and fun activity. Kids can join for just one meeting, or sign up for all four.


Everyone who registers will get to borrow a copy of the book from the library!


Space is limited, so be sure to register.


This event is only open to kids in grades 4-6.

Teen Advisory Committee Meeting

The library’s Teen Advisory Committee (TAC) is made up of teens ages 14-18!


As part of TAC, you will help advise the library on services to teens in Squamish, plan programs, help library staff with programs and projects, and get volunteer hours!

NFB Film Screening: The Stand

Saturday / September 27 / 1:00 - 3:00 pm


Join us for an afternoon film screening of the NFB documentary The Stand (2024, 94 min 33s).


This film uses archival footage to tell the story about a landmark act of peaceful resistance and Indigenous sovereignty.

Seed Saving for Beginners

Wednesday / October 1 / 7:00 - 8:30 pm


Join Marie-ève, Squamish CAN Seed Library Manager, to learn how to save your own seeds.
