It may not be officially summer yet, but with the kids out of school and the temperatures rising, it sure feels like it! Do you know what you are doing with these next few precious months?

For those needing a distraction for the kids, our Summer Kids Camps offered in both June and July are always a hit.

Or perhaps you're ready to take your diving to the next level. PADI's Master Scuba Diver Challenge is a great way to improve, plus they've added the bonus of a chance to win a trip to Fiji. See the details below.

DIVE INTO SUMMER WITH OUR KIDS CAMPS!

When summer vacation starts, kids look towards adventure under the sun. What’s better than diving beneath the waves and exploring a whole new world? Build your kid’s confidence, learn teamwork, and develop new skills in this camp. This camp offers kids between the ages of 10-17, the opportunity to get their Open Water Scuba Certification. It is a five-day program that covers all the necessary theory, and the class & pool training required for open water certification.

JOIN US FOR WOMEN'S DIVE DAY JULY 26th

We’re thrilled to announce our third annual Women’s Dive Day! This year, the ladies of One World invite all female divers and snorkelers to join us at Thrashin’ Axes for an evening filled with axe throwing, duck pin bowling, good food & drink, and great friends. This is the perfect opportunity to get to know your local dive community and connect with like-minded, adventure fueled women. See details below:

NOW IS THE TIME TO GET YOUR GEAR SERVICED

Ensure your gear is in tip-top shape before your next trip or class and beat the summer and fall rush. Our technicians have summer vacation plans as well, so get your gear in now to guarantee it's ready for your next adventure. We are currently turning around gear in less than two weeks. Act fast while the service racks aren't overflowing!

NEED TO REFRESH YOUR DIVE SKILLS?

POOL NIGHT ~ Once a month, we open our pool for divers to come in after hours and splash around if they've been diving within that last 2 years. This is a self guided review (there won't be an instructor on duty) but gives you a chance to set up your gear, blow bubbles, and keep things fresh between trips. $25 covers your pool time, one rental tank and any scuba equipment you may need. Sign up online as we have limited availability each night.

SCUBA REFRESHERS ~ If it’s been longer than 2 years since your last dive, then you’ll need a SCUBA REFRESHER. In this four hour class, instructors share practical tips from their personal experience of diving and jump in the water with you to make sure you are comfortable setting up your gear, controlling your buoyancy and review your emergency skills. The class is offered three times each month, and is often required by a resort if you haven't been diving in a year. If you have been out of the water for longer than 8 years, you will need to schedule this class privately.
