Kids in Motion Pediatric Therapy has been successfully providing in person services since 6/1 without a single instance of COVID-19 infection!
Hang in there everyone! 2020 has challenged us all in many ways. Together, as a community, we WILL get through the pandemic.

Kids in Motion re-opened to in person services at the clinic on 6/1. We currently serve about half of our children in person and the other half via Teletherapy on Zoom videoconferencing.

We follow a strict infection control protocol at the clinic which is working well. There has not been a single case of COVID-19 transmission associated with clinic operations since the day of our re-opening.

Feel free to call us at 310-371-8555 with any questions or concerns.
Thank you for your trust and confidence in our continued commitment to your family's health and safety. We take this responsibility seriously. Your child and your family are part of the Kids in Motion family and we are all in this together.
As the state of this public health emergency changes from week to week, and with the possibility of new stay home orders looming in the not so distant horizon, we want to assure you that Kids in Motion is categorized as an essential service provider by the state of CA and we WILL continue to be here for you as we are now, with a combination of in person services and Teletherapy, according to your preference and your child's needs. We will continue to follow our strict Infection Control protocols given their demonstrated success since our re-opening on 6/1.

Please note our revised Screening Questions consistent with current CDC guidelines:
Contactless Temperature Screening

Enhanced health and safety protocol- here's what to expect when you arrive at the clinic:

  1. Please review all signage posted in front of the clinic upon arrival.
  2. The first 5 minutes of your child's scheduled session will be used for check in and disinfection/ preparation of your child's assigned treatment space.
  3. 1 adult/ 1 child in the waiting room at a time for check in. Please wait at the stop sign at the entrance to the clinic for a member of our team to welcome you inside.
  4. You and your child will proceed to the check in desk to answer our 3 important screening questions.
  5. After checking in, please wait on the patio or nearby courtyard for your child's therapist.
  6. We are asking that adults wait in the car or on the patio during the child's session. If you and your child's therapist determine that it is best for you or another adult to join the session to facilitate a productive visit or you are uncomfortable dropping your child off, you are welcome to join in. All adults must wear a face mask in the clinic and on the patio and will be asked to adhere to social distancing. Masks with vents are not permitted.
  7. After sanitizing and preparing your child's treatment space, your therapist will greet you and your child on the patio and get the session started.
  8. If your child has a face mask he/she has been wearing, please have them do so at the clinic. If not, your therapist will provide a child size mask for children age 2 and up. If the therapist determines that your child is unable to wear a mask, it will be up to her discretion to determine if the session is able to proceed safely according to our re-opening guidelines. Your child's therapist will be wearing a face mask and eye protection at all times.
  9. Your child and therapist will proceed to the sink for hand washing or hand sanitizer. Hands will be re-sanitized periodically throughout the session and prior to exiting the clinic as well.
  10. Please be sure to be back on the patio at least 5 minutes before your child's session is scheduled to end. This will allow you and your child's therapist to de-brief regarding the session. Thank you for keeping a close eye on the time to allow your therapist to keep things running smoothly and on time for all children and families we serve.
