CULTURAL CRAFTS
Come join us for free cultural crafts for the whole family on October 25 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Native Friendship Centre.

POTTERY WHISTLES
This session is for young clay enthusiasts aged 8 - 16 years. Participants will be introduced to cool, clay creations using various hand building techniques and tools. Projects will be made and glazed during the 2 hour session. Work will be kiln-fired and available for pick up 3 weeks from the session date. No previous experience is necessary. Please bring an art shirt .

HOME ALONE & FIRST AID
Important skills are learned through interactive lessons and role-play that help make you and your parents more confident when you are at home alone. The First Aid section will teach you how to check for safety at home and in the community, safely respond to medical emergencies, and how to care for an injured person.

Registrants must be 9-12 years of age when the course occurs on October 25 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
BUILD A DREAM HOME FOR YOUR PET WITH CLAY
Fun for all ages. Build an imaginary world for an imaginary pet with clay. Have fun while building skills. Class runs on October 25 from 10:30 am to 12 noon.

SWIM FOR A TOONIE PLUS TAX
Looking for a fun way to spend the day off school? Or a way to spend time with the family? Hit the pool! The Four Seasons Leisure Pool and PG Aquatic Centre will provide swimming for $2.10 on Pro D Days, including October 25. 

Drop by later that evening for Movie Night at the Pool.

The Community Active Living Guide is full of information about City facilities, and Community Association and Aquatics programming.

The Guide also includes information about many local recreational organizations offering programs and opportunities. Get involved, try something new, be active, and have fun.

The Pro D flyer and School Break eNewsletter are excellent resources for parents, educators, and youth to learn about activities during school breaks.

Local businesses and organizations can promote recreation programs in the School Break Programs e-Newsletter and Pro D Day Flyer. The Flyer and eNewsletter are distributed electronically via school emails, delivered to eNewsletter subscribers, and posted on the City website.
