One of the best things about Kim Diehl's patterns is that they are small projects that can be finished in a reasonable amount of time which means that they are less likely to end up in the unfinished project pile!
Exclusive Patterns - Cannot be Sold Separately
As per the guidelines set by Henry Glass, Simple Whatnots patterns cannot be sold separately. They can only be included with the sale of kits or bundled with the purchase of a set amount of fabric.

We make it easy for you to bring home Kim's projects so that when you're ready for a Kim Diehl sew day, the kits are ready for you. Each Simple Whatnots Club 12 kit includes the exclusive pattern and fabric to finish the top of each project, including the binding. Backing is not included unless noted otherwse.
The Simple Whatnots Club 12 Projects are as follows:
Garden Trug (8.5" x 18.5") uses a little bit of appliqué to lay the foundation for a fabulous little mini. If you love this project but would like some help brushing up on your appliqué skills, keep reading for information about an upcoming class.
To make A Tisket... A Basket (17" x 20") you will start off with an easily pieced chunky base and cap it off with a sweet and scrappy checkerboard rim. You will then add a simple appliquéd handle that's doable even if you've never sewn a stitch of appliqué.
The diagonal seams in Starshine (25.5" x 25.5) bring out secondary designs in this mini-quilt and blur the lines where the blocks actually begin and end. It is kind of like a sweet little patchwork fake-off!

Sweet Nothings (21.5" x 21.5") brims with patchwork blooms, while a Token of My Affection (16.5" x 16.5") explodes with starry goodness. Snowberries in Summer (22.5" x 22.5") showcases scrap-happy pinwheels that are practically guaranteed to make you smile.

Last but not least...
Safe Keeping (10.5" x 12.5") has a simple piano key border that helps to ramp up the pretty factor. This kit includes the backing to make it even easier to start and finish!

Scraps of Kindness is a six-part series featuring classic patchwork blocks set in adorable spools. Each month for six months, participants will stitch their way through a variety of fun-to-sew blocks. The Scraps of Kindness lap quilt kit includes the pattern and Scraps of Kindness fabric for the 56.5" x 64.5" quilt top and binding. The fabric has been packaged into instalments to make it that much easier to keep you organized.
You can sew along with Kim Diehl beginning in February (exact date TBD).

New Club Class - Beginning in March!
So many adorable projects, can you stop at just one? Tami is keen to get to work on the Simple Whatnots 12 projects but would like to bring some friends along on the journey with her.
Join Tami for this brand-new club class where you will work your way through the Simple Whatnots Club 12 projects featuring the Scraps of Kindness collection. The first two projects have been chosen by Tami. The group will start with Safe Keeping and Token of My Affection. Subsequent projects will be chosen by the group.
Patterns Required: As noted above, Simple Whatnots Club 12 patterns are exclusive and cannot be sold separately. If you are interested in this class, we suggest purchasing the individual kits with all the fabrics or purchasing a Scraps of Kindness Fat Quarter bundle that includes all eight Simple Whatnots Club 12 patterns.
Skill Level: Confident Beginner (willing and able to work with small pieces)
Worried about the winter weather? We're waiting until March to start this club class and hopefully Mother Nature will comply!

Kim Diehl's Garden Trug (Appliqué)
It's not too early to start thinking about gardening with Kim Diehl's Garden Trug pattern from her Simple Whatnots Club 12. This project involves appliqué so if you are relatively new to appliqué or would enjoy the opportunity to brush up on your technique, join Tami for two half-day classes and she'll share lots of tips and tricks.
Kit or Pattern Required: You must purchase the Garden Trug Simple Whatnots kit or have access to the exclusive Simple Whatnots pattern.
Skill Level: Confident Beginner with respect to sewing but no prior appliqué experience is required.
Date: Wednesdays, March 8th and March 29th (1:00 - 4:00)
