Kim Nimmer

The ITRC Impact Award recognizes an ITRC member who has made significant contributions to the organization and the broader environmental community.

Her nomination stated that "Kim was the gold standard example for other members to embrace the organization both professionally and personally."

Orange Water and Sewer Authority (OWASA), Planning and Development Manager

ITRC

Active leader, mentor, and member on several project & training teams
Co-Team Leader for the Microplastics team
Trainer for multiple ITRC project teams including Microplastics and CEC - representing ITRC with audiences in Australia and Europe
Led multiple subgroups, most recently the Sustainable Waste team

The award will formally be presented at the ITRC Annual Meeting on April 21, 2026.
