With one month left on my term as City President, my heart is blooming with gratitude. I thank every Kindervelt member for their contributions of hard work, time, creativity, and financial support. I thank their families too as they often help as well. Special thanks go to my Board of Trustees who are wonderful ladies to work with, Keith Henize and Kelly Bollinger who are always there for us keeping us connected to CCHMC, the group presidents who go the extra mile to keep their groups running smoothing, and of course, all our generous sponsors. I must mention my loving family as well for supporting me in this adventure.
One constant theme throughout my 2-year term has been AMAZEMENT! I am continually amazed at the breadth of work we continued to do despite the pandemic. Every month I would be presented with more and more project forms and contracts to approve. I know we are going to be amazed on May 18th at Kenwood Country Club, when we present our 2nd check to the Division of Critical Care Medicine and the PICU. ALL are welcome to attend; you don’t want to miss it! Be sure to sign up today (deadline is May 8th) to register to attend by simply clicking on the link in this edition.
It was a fun year celebrating our 50th anniversary and I am honored to have served as your president. I love Kindervelt! Thank you for making it a wonderful organization. We have made a difference and will continue to do so under the leadership of Cindy Burger (KV 16) for the next two years. I wish her the best; she is the best, and will do a great job.
Thanks again and see you at the Annual Meeting and many more future Kindervelt events!

KV #45 has a new version of the KV Appreciation Plaque. These are a great way to thank donors for your projects and events. The new plaques will sell for $18.00 each. There are very few of the original gold plaques remaining for $16 each. If you have given one to a repeat sponsor/donor in the past the new ones give you the opportunity to present them with a different one for future donations.

KV #16 would like to congratulate all the members, especially Karen Rutz and Mary Volker, for another successful March Madness event. It was a huge success and a fun night for all. But we also have continued our Volunteer effort for the Flying Pig again this year and we appreciate all the members, family and friends who continue to make this such a success for CCHMC and Greater Cincinnati. Thank you, KV 16, for always finding time to "Make A Difference" in the lives of children here in Cincinnati and around the world!
KV #16 A special "Shout Out" to all those who have stepped forward and will be serving as officers for the next fiscal year. We appreciate you as the dedicated members you are for KV 16. Thank You!
KV #30 had a very successful Spring/Easter Cookie Sale netting over $1,000. This was our 5th Bake Sale which started in 2020 by Tina Kasidonis and Marie Tsacalis replacing our in person Hospital Bake Sales. Thanks to our entire membership for their full participation in this project. Our group, of 21 members, is small but mighty. A special thank you to our Gold Sponsors: Bill Cartwright and Don Dufek for their generous donations.

KV #68 would like to thank Sally Westendorf for hosting our April meeting at her house and thanks to Kathy Olberding for providing our dessert.
