We hope everyone had a great time dancing "Under The Sea" at this year's Butler Ball. The dance floor was packed for both sessions. The transformation of the gym and cafeteria truly made it a night to remember.
A HUGE thank you to Samantha Wilson Photography for taking photos at the event. Photos will be available to view via the newsletter in a few weeks.
We would also like to thank our event volunteers, cleanup crew, and everyone who donated snacks for the Ball.

Family Fun and Fitness Night

Come and join the 14th Annual Butler Family Fun and Fitness Night. Tour the gym, cafeteria, and designated classrooms to participate in several fun health and fitness activities. Children who participate in five or more activities can enter their pass into a gift card raffle. For the safety of our Butler Bears, please plan on participating in the events with your children. This is NOT a drop-off event.

The Butler Spring Fair

50 Punches for $10.00
Event Day Punch Cards
4 punches for $1; 20 punches for $5
Spring Fair Punch Cards (used for all games and inside food) are now on sale through MyPaymentsPlus at a discounted price of 50 punches for $10. You have to select the # of cards you want (from 1-5) before processing payment. If you want to return to purchase more later, you will have to choose a different amount. For example, if you purchased 5 punch cards for your child originally, you can go back to MPP and purchase 1,2,3 or 4 punch cards. These are the settings per child, not per family.
Please note, cash is not accepted for Pre-sale, but cash is accepted the day of the fair. Pre-sale is only available through MyPaymentsPlus.
Please note, punch cards will NOT be sent home prior to the fair. All pre-purchased punch cards will be available to pick up at the Ticket Table at the Fair.

We are looking for parents to help set up for the Spring Fair on Friday, March 21 (beginning at 4:15 pm), then on Saturday, March 22, we need volunteers to help run a station during fair hours (9:45 am-3:00 pm), and/or help with cleanup and breakdown starting at 2:45 pm on Saturday.
At this point the Spring Fair is in jeopardy of being shortened and having less games if we do not get volunteers!
Keep in mind that spouses or grandparents may also volunteer. For parents/spouses/grandparents, sign up here.
Since the Spring Fair is a family event with parents in attendance, volunteer clearances ARE NOT required on SATURDAY.

RAFFLE BASKETS AND FUN JARS | |

The Spring Fair is blossoming on March 22, and this year the Raffle Baskets are bigger and better than ever. Homeroom coordinators have received emails with reminders and due dates. All Classroom Basket donations are due by March 3rd. Class and family donated Fun Jars are due by March 17th.
We would love to have participation from all families so we can continue our tradition of raffling amazing Baskets and Fun Jars at the Spring Fair, which in turn raises money which benefits all of our children at Butler.

Donations for Musical Cake game
Please consider donating a cake or cupcakes for the Spring Fair Musical Cakes game (think Musical chairs, but the prize is cakes/cupcakes). You can bake or buy items to donate. Baked goods can be dropped off to Butler on Friday, March 21 after 4pm or before 10am on Saturday, March 22. Please contact Christina Homewood with questions. All donations are greatly appreciated!

CONTRIBUTE TO HELP SUPPORT PTO PROGRAMS & EVENTS | |

PTO events and activities would not be available without our volunteers and the financial contribution by the Butler families. In support of our efforts, we are asking for a $15 contribution per household (Butler Family) as the means to offset the expenses for organizing and holding the events.
For those who wish, you can sponsor another Butler family’s $15 contribution. Payment is preferred through MyPaymentsPlus or submit a check with this form.

YOU MUST HAVE CLEARANCES TO VOLUNTEER | |

In order to volunteer in the classroom, you must have current volunteer clearances through CBSD. Questions? Contact Michelle Droxler.
The process is EASY and all done online using the Volunteer Tracker App. Every CB volunteer will need to register and upload their clearances.
Pennsylvania law requires all persons having direct contact with school children obtain background checks and clearances. Click here for the required clearances, along with links to the state’s websites.
