"You can never know the ripple effect you create with one tiny gesture of kindness"
Wednesday, October 22, marks 12 years since Colleen tragically lost her life. Kindness for Colleen, created by Colleen's friend Jen, brings good and positivity to this very difficult day to all those who knew and have come to know Colleen. The campaign is a way to remember and honor Colleen in a fitting way: by performing random acts of kindness to remind the community that even on the darkest of days, there is still good. We invite you to join our family and the community by participating in Kindness for Colleen by performing random acts of kindness. Share your acts of kindness on Facebook and Instagram using #Kindness4Colleen.
Acts of kindness cost you nothing. Be the good in someone's day. Acts of kindness can be as simple as sharing a smile, holding the door, listening to a friend, and just supporting and loving others. Colleen's kindness was simple, which is what has made her impact on others, those who knew her, and those who have come to know her, extraordinary.
Click here to print a kindness card to share with the beneficiary of your kindness and encourage them to pass it on. Remember to share your acts of kindness on social media using #Kindness4Colleen.
To learn more about who Colleen was, we invite you to watch Love, Colleen, an award-winning documentary produced by Sarah Roach, Colleen's former student. Click here to view the documentary.
Thank you again for honoring Colleen and helping us to carry on her legacy of kindness!
Sincerely,
Tom, Peggie, Dan & Laura Ritzer
