Soul Care Blog by Karen Kaigler-Walker,
HTC UWFaith Spiritual Growth Coordinator

“Be ye kind one to another” (Eph 4: 32 KJV) was the first Bible verse that either I learned in Sunday school or that stuck with me the longest. Maybe it was because Mother reinforced the notion by using the word kind a lot with me when I was growing up. I wasn’t the kindest kid on the block. Be Salty.Stay Lit Matt.14.11-12

Let's be God's Salty Women!

Thursday, April 30th 10:00 am or 6:30 pm

LAST CHANCE! REGISTER NOW for our Soul Care Mini-Retreat on Thursday when we’ll talk about Jesus’ request for us to be “the salt of the earth” (Matt: 5:13).
While it's easy to understand why Jesus referred to us as light, asking us to be God's salt isn't as clear. Was he talking about being Morton’s table salt? Or something different? Starting with a discussion of the importance of salt in Jesus' time, we'll bring his request forward to how we still are the salt of God's kin-dom.

Join us at either 10 a.m. or 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 30 on Zoom. After you register, you’ll receive a short reading and the Zoom info. Be sure to pass this on to others. Register now.
