An Evening with Aaron Blake
King University cordially invites you to join us on April 1, 2024, at First Presbyterian Church in Bristol at 6 p.m. for an enchanting evening with Aaron Blake, the acclaimed Grammy-winning Metropolitan Opera Tenor. Following Mr. Blake's performance, we will host a reception to celebrate the esteemed service of King University President Alexander Whitaker.

Our heartfelt gratitude extends to the King Institute for Faith & Culture, along with members of King's Board of Trustees, whose invaluable support has made this exceptional event possible.
Campus Cleanup Day
Please mark your calendars for our next Campus Cleanup Day on April 3, 2024, from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM. King University faculty, staff, students, and alumni are invited to participate. Dogwood Homecoming Weekend
We are looking forward to seeing alumni and friends on campus for Dogwood Homecoming Weekend on April 12th and 13th.   • 1 p.m. Guided Campus Tour
  • 1 - 3 p.m. Dr. Simeon Pickard Retirement Celebration
  • 2 p.m. Women's Soccer Alumni Game
  • 2:30 p.m. Susan Glaspell's Trifles (Theatre Production)
  • 3:30 p.m. Men's Soccer Alumni Game (Will follow Women's Soccer Alumni Game)
  • 6 - 8 p.m. Burke Observatory Open House, Telescope open for viewing 8-10 p.m. weather pending.
  • 7 p.m. The third annual Celebration of the Arts

Dogwood Homecoming Weekend registration is $15 per person, and children 12 and under are free. Registration includes access to all on-campus events for the weekend. Click here to register.

Celebration of the Arts
An elegant evening of music, food, and friends, the third annual Celebration of the Arts 2024 will be held in the historic Bristol Hotel. Music and hors d'oeuvres set the scene for fun as you reconnect with friends from near and far. An exciting silent auction will take place featuring one-of-a-kind works of art, vintage items, and exclusive experiences. All proceeds directly benefit students in the Arts at King.

Pickleball Social: Thank You
We had a blast at King’s first-ever Pickleball Social on March 23rd. We even had a trustee vs. student match! Great job everyone. Thank you to all who attended and to the Bristol Sportsplex for sponsoring this event.
Alumni Spotlight
Congratulations to Aaron George '02 for winning the GIAA-AA Athletic Director of the Year Award. Aaron is the Director of Athletics at Trinity Christian School in Dublin, Georgia. He is the husband of Cat George '02. Both he and Cat are former King College soccer players. Great work, Aaron!
On March 19, 2024, the Board of Directors of BeiGene, designated Titus Ball '95 as principal accounting officer of the Company, effective on that date.

Titus joined BeiGene in August of 2023 as Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer. Prior to joining the Company, from 2022 to 2023, Mr. Ball served as Managing Director in KMPG’s Accounting Advisory practice. From 2010 through 2021, Mr. Ball held various finance roles of increasing responsibility with Carlisle Companies Inc., including most recently as VP of Finance of Carlise’s Fluid Technologies segment and Carlisle Companies Inc.’s VP & Chief Accounting Officer.

King's Master of Social Work gains CSWE accreditation
Following a three-year candidacy period, King University's Master of Social Work (MSW) program has been granted initial accreditation by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). The CSWE is the chief governing body for such academic programs in the U.S.
