On his national holiday, ACM reflects on how Dr. King's heroism shaped our history — and our mission

From the very beginning, the life and work of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. has been a key influence on the mission of the Alliance of Concerned Men. Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a man of integrity, humility, and courage. For this year's annual MLK Day Peace Walk & Parade, ACM joined our neighbors to honor his life and keep his values alive in our communities. We were honored to serve as marshals for this celebration!

PROGRESS: ACM Collaborates with University of Maryland


Alliance of Concerned Men collaborates with UMD PROGRESS initiative to expand and improve violence interruption programs and help keep our communities safe!

ACM is collaborating with the University of Maryland PROGRESS pilot project, Leveraging GeoAI for Gun Violence Prevention. Our staff joined UMD researchers in College Park last month to discuss best practices, ways researchers and practitioners can work together, and how to technology like GeoAI can stop violence before it starts.
