St. Louis IX
Louis IX was a great French king who combined his love of Christ and the Church with a willingness to serve his country. He protected and helped the French priests, set up shelters and hospitals for the poor and sick, and built beautiful churches for the people of France. He also gave thought to his own prayer life, spending many hours in prayer for himself and his country.

Reminders from our
Head of School
|
|
Dear Parents,
I hope everyone had a great weekend, even if it was a wet one!
Following up with our parent feedback and to further reduce congestion during morning carline, we are making a minor change that we are confident will benefit everyone.
After 7:40 a.m., parents will now be allowed to park in the auxiliary (gravel) lot and walk up to the white entry gate with their children, where someone will be there to check the students' temperatures. If you choose this option, please be sure to wear a face covering and do not congregate at the gate or in the auxiliary lot. This does not apply to afternoon carline as the auxiliary lot is being used by parents for the 2nd dismissal (4th - 8th). Thank you for your patience and your partnership as we work to enhance these new procedures.
Make it a blessed week everyone!
In His service,
Head of School

CLASSROOM BIRTHDAY TREATS!
|
Although we are temporarily suspending outside food from being delivered to RPA, arrangements can be made with Breads & Spreads to deliver tasty treats!
NEW OPTION!
"Soul Flours" is a Baker/Culinary Duo that works out of the same kitchen as Breads & Spreads. Lonna & Amy specialize in baked treats and are well versed in baking for specific allergies (Dairy free, Nut Free, etc.)
Since the baking is done in the same kitchen as Breads & Spreads, under the same safety protocols, and delivered to the RPA campus by Breads & Spreads, we are confident the integrity of our safety protocols can be maintained.
|
|
After September, birthdays will be celebrated on the First Friday of each month. Room moms will help coordinate the birthdays!
(Due to the short notice, September b-days will need a 10-day notice but may be celebrated on any Friday)
|
Parents interested in this option may contact Breads & Spreads. They will put you in touch with Soul Flours and payment can be arranged directly with Soul Flours.
|
|
Our first Love Lines banners have been hung on the RPA Soccer Field. All students can enjoy these heartfelt wishes from parents during their recess time!
This year, participation in this program will be recognized as part of your total 2020-21 Kings' Campaign annual donation!

“O Lady of Good Health,
our Merciful Father chose you to be a powerful intercessor in times of trouble and woe.
As in past centuries when you have ended contagious diseases, we implore you now to end the Coronavirus which is damaging the health of many and spreading fear in our communities.
Teach us not to be afraid, to be courageous and generous in offering assistance to others, and to live joyfully in the state of grace.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, Pray for us now and at the hour of our death. Amen.”
