Storm preparedness for all abilities
|
As we have seen recently, preparing for weather-related emergencies is a challenging task. In a household with an individual who has a disability, that preparation requires more detailed, long-term planning. Click HERE for information on how to prepare for the unexpected.

Staff Orientation
and First Day Magic
|
The first day of school is preceded, of course, by preparation: staff trainings, classroom set-up, and plenty of paperwork and technology to deal with. Meanwhile, new staff members are introduced and everyone works together to make sure everything is ready for the big day!
Here is a look at Staff Orientation and the very happy return of our students! Photo, right: One-One-One Aide Charles Schafer helps with organizing Danielle Whinna's Community Based Instruction classroom.

With coffee in hand and smiles under their masks, they're ready to get back to work with the students! From left: Natalie Mullen, Laurie Jablonski, and Donna Giannini, Speech Language Therapists; and Donna Stone, Occupational Therapist, at Staff Orientation.

One-on-One Aides from the Community and School Based Instruction Programs look forward to the big day! They are dedicated to building relationships with their students and helping them make this a great school year!
