Kinney Pike E-Newsletter | June 2022
It's FINALLY summertime in New England! We want to remind everyone to travel safely this summer, especially with a record number of travelers on the roads. Unfortunately, 39 people have already lost their lives on Vermont's highways and roads in 2022. Be sure to take extra caution while driving. Always expect the unexpected and ensure you and your car are ready for road trips.

We are also in the midst of our event season here at Kinney Pike and have been able to support some great causes this year including: The Relay for Life, The Prouty, The Point to Point & more. We also had a successful Father's Day weekend at the Quechee Balloon Festival, partnering with our new colleagues at OneDigital, despite the balloons not going up. Thank you to all the clients who stopped by to say hello, we love seeing your smiling faces year after year.

The Williston Food Shelf was established in 2008 as the primary Food Shelf for the towns of Williston, St. George, and Richmond, Vermont; however, no one is ever turned away. Their mission is to eliminate hunger, provide high-quality food to those in need in the local community, and to connect community members and families with essential support services.

The Williston Community Food Shelf is a 501(c)3 organization with no paid staff. It is run by dedicated volunteers. Over the last 14 years, the Food Shelf has served 35,000 families which represents nearly 100,000 people. Many of their clients are senior citizens.

The Food Shelf is a member of the Vermont Food Bank (Vermont’s connection to America's Second Harvest Network), and is wholly supported by individuals and local businesses, like Kinney Pike Insurance, who initiate local food drives and make donations from area restaurants and grocery stores to provide healthy, nutritious food for clients in need.

The food shelf is always looking for donations, learn more about how you can support Williston Community Food Shelf Here!

It's construction/road work season in New England! Unfortunately, this means greater risk of death or injury from the elements. Here are three things ALL outdoor workers should be aware of right now.
We understand that boats/watercrafts are large personal investments that deserve their own policies to ensure the right protection. If you're thinking of buying a boat, talk to one of our personal insurance experts today!
Do you have any spring or early summer claims that need resolving? Talk to our experienced claims coordinators for assistance with all your claims needs & questions.
Did you know that you can earn gift cards for referring new clients to us? Get all the details about our Customer Referral Program here. And don't forget to tell your friends & family!
Our employees and their families continue to amaze us! From new grandkids to community events, and retiring after 24 years of service... See what everyone's been up to in Q2!
