As the 4th quarter comes to a close, we thought it would be fun to highlight some of the special things Kinney Pike does for the holidays.
On Fridays, our employees have the option of dressing casual, for a small price. Our "Jean Fund" is then used at the end of the year to donate to local organizations. Here's how our employees are sharing their Jean Funds, as well as giving back in their local community this holiday season:
Poultney:
Participated in Poultney's Tree of Giving, which is sponsored by the Poultney Woman's Club. This year they made Christmas special for one 7-year-old boy.
Randolph:
Donated funds to the Randolph Area Food Shelf, which has been packing boxes for families in need this holiday season.
Rutland:
Adopted 3 families from (RAVNAH) Rutland Area Visiting Nurses and Hospice and bought them gifts for Christmas.
St. Johnsbury:
Bought a gift certificate to a local grocery store and will be giving it to a less fortunate family, who happens to live right around the corner from their office.
Swanton:
Donated turkeys through the Abenaki’s and Tyler Greeno Foundation and have given presents to senior citizens through Kinney Drugs in St. Albans.
White River Junction:
Sponsored two family's through the Norwich Holiday Basket Helpers and gave them an extra special Christmas.
Williston:
Sponsored two boys (ages 9 & 11) through the Williston Central School Community Support Program and donated 19 pairs of socks to their local Socks for Seniors program.
