Kip Rosenthal to Judge College Preparatory Invitational
2018 Florida Horse Show

Miami, Florida - June 12, 2017 - The College Prep Invitational is pleased to welcome Kip Rosenthal as judge for the 2018 College Prep Invitational Florida Horse Show slated for January 13-15, 2018 in Palm Beach, Florida. A highly respected USEF "R" rated judge in both hunter and hunt seat equitation, Rosenthal has judged numerous prestigious competitions in the United States, including the Hampton Classic, Lake Placid, Capital Challenge, Pessoa/USEF Hunter Seat Medal Finals, Platinum Performance / USEF Show Jumping Talent Search, Pony Finals and more.
Rosenthal is an accomplished equestrian who rode and trained under the tutlege of legendary horseman such as George Morris, Victor Hugo-Vidal and Bert de Nemethy. As a junior rider, she placed in the top three at the AHSA Medal Finals and the ASPCA Maclay Finals and she earned AHSA Horse of the Year in the junior hunters with her horse, Goodboy Dee.
Known as a well-rounded and insightful horsewoman, Rosenthal holds a PhD in clinical counseling psychology and conducts sports psychology seminars throughout the country. As an author, she has written several articles that have appeared in publications Practical Horseman, The Chronicle of the Horse and Today's Equestrian.
In 2012, Rosenthal received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the New England Equitation Championships. Rosenthal is currently a member of the USHJA Emerging Athletes Program Committee and USEF Continuing Education Committee.
About the College Preparatory Invitational
The CPI is a three-day event designed to educate student riders about the different formats of college equestrian competitions and provide riders with resources to help them create their desired college equestrian experience. Riders in grades 8 through 12 have a chance to win scholarships in hunt seat equitation competition and participate in educational presentations throughout the event. In an effort to encourage academic excellence and embed social integrity as a lifelong commitment to the equestrian sport, the CPI Scholarship and Educational Fund also awards riders the opportunity to win scholarships for academics and community service.
